I found this scouting pin at a old BS camp and when I cleaned it was surprised
at how old it was. Any ideas as to what else it says and means? I posted pictures above.

A very nice find. It's most likely a Tenderfoot Rank pin. The 1911 date is the patent date but was on the back for longer than that.
The back reads "Be Prepared" "BSofA" "PAT 1911"
