Is it a local park, or, a state park?
The DNR will give you a permit sent by email to hunt beaches in Missouri State Parks. I sent in an email and they contacted via email me almost immediately with a signed permit. Seems like I filled out a request online
Here is some discussion over at Friendly...

I knew if I kept talking to myself long enough I would come up with it.... Here is the link and what it said... . I just sent an request for a permit to the email address.

The website said that I would have to fill out a request for each state park that I wanted to hunt. I filled out Trail of Tears, and Wappapello, but my permit came back with the entire list of state parks approved.
Hope that this helps,
Dex
