Not sure what kind of detecting you are looking to do. I like to hit old homes if I can. If I need to get out for a quick hunt I will go to a local park or baseball diamonds. Sometimes the smaller ones are better because they have not been hit by anybody. Last fall one day I went to a small ball park near my daughters school. Only 3 ball fields there and it is county school with only a couple hundred students. I found around $20.00 in clad that afternoon. It was like almost every swing of the detector I was digging a dime or quarter. The park is not that old so I don't expect silver but sometimes it is nice to add to the clad count for the year.
