Got a Merc, Buff nickel, few wheats and just over 3 bucks in clad so far for the new-year with new gear. Been working a schoolyard mostly. The snow is all melted off the gravel. Very rough diggin. Using screwdriver mostly to pry up gravel but I'm happy I'm getting some time on this new detector{lots to learn}. Went to a homesite today but gave up early,gloves were wet and hands froze. But I did get a solid silver spoon! First solid one ever,{not-plated} bent up pretty bad, I had to re-shape it as best I could, but its a keeper!

Great hunt in this weather. I am going out this weekend to try some wood chip areas at the schools. Seems to be my best bet with all the soupy conditions.

I'm tellin ya, Hit those gravel parking lots if you got any melted off...Alot better than pulling up a mushy-mud-plug....But the wood-chips sound pretty good too!?!...got a few more clad today out of the gravel. School is close to home so I drive down there when I get some spare time..I'm gonna need ALOT more time on this F75ltd before Im signal-confident...Alot of set-up options..almost too many for me..Gets confusing at times...
