Organizing a MD event with rain is prob as bad as herding cats... in the rain.

As my first group hunt, I have been looking forward to this since I first read the post. Heavy rain will end it for me, but till then I am looking forward to meeting you all and having a safe hunt.

Can you imagine the stories you can tell the grand kids someday?

I'm still trying to learn my etrac, so hoping to meet a couple of experts and learn something. I'm actually doing quite well with my etrac on shallow targets, but having no luck with anything deeper than 3-4". Would it be rude to ask to shadow someone for a couple of digs to see what I'm missing?

The weather seemed to heckle us at times, but it didn't stop the show. It was great to meet and talk with many of you. Sorry it wasn't all of you, but a hobby that uses headphones can make it difficult.. :-)

Thanks Sean and NED. It was a tough but great hunt. I got to put some faces to the names today. My finds for the day were two zinc pennys and a clad dime. Cant win them all.

THANKS Sean for settin this thing up and also to NED for the generous donations (even tho i didn't win ) had a great time meeting a few new faces and also hunting with a few familiar faces. the weather was spotty but didn't stop anyone from havin a good time and diggin a few keepers, i ended the day with a boy scout tie clip and 3 coins....1891 seated dime, 1946 wheatie and a memorial penny. thanks again Sean for hosting this and also to all the members that made this happen

Thanks Sean And NED for the sponcership. had a Blast today did end up keeping my 1800's Streak going this being hunt #14 today was a 1891 indian head i did also pull another coin but we will never know what it is except to tell ya its copper the same size of a nickel but only 1/2 as thick as a nickel but absolutly nothing left to tell what it is. was a great fun day an glad to finaly be able to put a face to all the people in the group was suprized to see the 25+ turn out thanks again
